Power Stick

I learned something new today from a teacher (duh!) This had nothing to do with the class she was teaching. She showed us a powerstick.

I hadn't heard of such a thing so she explained how it worked and the convenience factors it provided.

I thought this would be a good topic for my techno blog. I Googled it and found this:

Simply pop it into your USB port and let it charge up. A fuel gauge lets you monitor its progress. Then connect the Powerstick to virtually any portable device – and it transfers the charge while allowing you to use that device even as it’s being charged.

The Powerstick charges mobile devices such as Blackberrys, cell phones, smart phones, PDAs, iPhones, iPods, MP3 Players, headsets and digital cameras.

It is so easy to use. Plug the Powerstick into a USB port to charge including desktops, laptops, car stereos and aeroplane seats. The fuel gauge turns on when charging begins.

With the appropriate connector, plug the Powerstick into your device’s charger port. Press the start button and your device has instant power. You can even use the device while it charges.

  1. Pretty neat gadget, I hadn't heard of this at all. I think this is useful to all because there are times when we may have foget to plug in cell phones to be charged, great forlaptops also.
